We have had a number of calls to replace large DHW cylinders that work using MTHW as the heat medium being circulated inside using a coil. These have either started to degrade or have become inefficient. The old cylinder is removed and a new plate heat exchanger put in its place with either a built in controller circulation pump and 3 port valve or controlled via the BMS with a separate circulation pump and 3 port valve.

We have also installed new plate heat exchangers that use steam as the heat medium with a condense return to a hot well.
